Accomplishments
These accomplishments demonstrate my commitment to holding the company accountable and serving the union members' best interests, showcasing what we've achieved together and how we can continue to advocate for our members.
-Establishing new Communication channels with Base Management.
-Assisting fellow members when IROP, Contract Violations occur. Receiving those 2am, 3am phone calls to advise how to proceed when the company disrupts a members schedule.
-Creating a new union communication channel for our members to reach out for support.
-Assisting our members in rollout of our new ASAP program
-Assisting and Educating our members of our new Professional Standards Program
-Established new Base Visibility standards to assist our members concerns.
-Have had late night conversations with Company Management when our members have gotten stranded
-Assisted in Establishing new Catering and Service standards committee. Established new standards to hold the company to regarding quality of In-flight Service standards.
-Held Base Management accountable when incorrect "NOS" coding have been put on our members schedules.
-Represented members in Company Investigational meetings and held company accountable to get discipline rescinded.
-Holding the Company Accountable with our New Catering, in-flight service Committee. Have worked with our fellow Union leaders to setup a new Communication channel to quickly escalate and resolve Catering, Aircraft issues. Now when there is an issue due to Catering (Or lack there of), we can now address in the moment and resolve. We've all submitted tell-in flights and haven't seen results. Now I am assisting this new program to hold the company accountable. Anytime going forward that a Catering issue if brought to my attention, I can now move quickly to resolve.
Key Achievements & Milestones
As an Original Organizer for TWU Local 579, I faced significant challenges to execute our right to form our union. I've assisted countless members, addressing their concerns and providing support. We secured a new location for our Union Bulletin Board and established vital communication channels with base management to resolve member issues effectively.
